WHY BUY A MINI TRUCK?
Kei Trucks are the perfect solution for light-duty tasks, these mini trucks are efficient and durable, with a strong and reliable engine. Most of our Kei trucks have four wheel drive which is great for driving through snow, mud, and harsh terrain. Most have extremely low miles and MPGs are incredible. Large beds for around the house or farm projects. Not only are they ideal for everyday work, but their versatility also makes them perfect for unique and creative projects!
HOW FAST ARE THEY?
These mini trucks were primarily designed to be driven around town and for short distance commuting and can reach speeds of up to 55-60mph.

Speed Tips
These trucks were primarily designed to be driven around town and should not exceed speeds of 60 mph. although these "could" be driven on highways, we do not recommend it for long periods of time due to the engine RPM and gearing limitations.

Four Wheel Drive Tips
If equipped, we always recommend coming to a complete stop before and after engaging the vehicle in four wheel drive. Four wheel drive should only be used for off road use and when conditions are slippery. Four wheel drive should not be used on dry roads or for everyday travel.
WHERE DO I BUY PARTS?
Easy! Most things like oil, filters, spark plugs and belts are all readily available at your local auto parts stores. Other items such as body parts, mirrors and engine parts can be easily found via online sources, such as eBay. Joining Facebook groups and mini truck forums is also a great idea for resources.
HOW CAN I DRIVE THESE LEGALLY?
PA allows mini trucks to be registered as an antique car - which is a one time plate fee and no annual inspections. Many classic car insurance companies will insure these as well.

IS IT HARD TO DRIVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE?
Honestly - after a few days of driving, it's simple. Shifting with your left hand takes a few days of getting used to, but becomes second nature in no time.
WHAT SIZE TIRES?
The standard tire size for these are a 145R12 however this size is hard to find here in the states. We recommend using 155/80/12 in your search. We have found that eBay has the best selection. There are many aftermarket upgrades available for these trucks, like lift kits, bigger tires, snow plows...etc.
WHAT TYPE OF BATTERY?
Many of these trucks use a small "utility style" battery with uncommon slim battery posts. A battery out of a US 1998 Toyota Prius will fit most trucks directly however, it is simple to convert the battery terminal ends to standard US size.
WHAT TYPE OF OIL FILTER?
All mini trucks have an engine oil capacity of 3 quarts. The recommended oil viscosity is 10w-30. Oil change intervals should be yearly or every 3,000 miles. *Always check your oil in between oil change intervals!

There are many oil filters that will fit these however, we have found that STP brand filters will fit accordingly:

- Daihatsu HiJet S4967
- Suzuki Carry S4967
- Mitsubishi Mini Cab S6607

- Honda Acty oil fill is on the rear side of the trucks. Cap says "oil" (careful, it looks like a fuel cap). Dipstick is behind the left rear tire.
- Subaru Sambar oil fill is behind the rear swing bumper. Dipstick is here also.
- Daihatsu has an oil fill and dipstick under the seats.
- Suzuki Carry dipstick and oil fill is under the seats.
- Mitsubishi Minicab oil fill and dipstick is under the seats.
